InnovNation's study abroad summer and winter programs seek to spark innovation by
exposing students, professionals, and entrepreneurs from all over the globe to
the high tech industries in Israel - a country world-renowned as the
Start-Up Nation.
InnovnNation is organized in collaboration with the
Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the
Israeli Ministry of the Economy and Industry,
Israel Beyond the Headlines (IBH),
and the
Rothberg International School (RIS) of
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem,
ranked among the world's top 100 universities.
Through a wide array of
site visits and meetings
the program combines theoretical knowhow with the insights and first-hand experience of Israel's top innovative
companies and entrepreneurs. Participants may enroll in one or both courses of our
summer or winter program, or take part in the two-four week winter program:

Housing (Optional - limited spaces avaliable):
Please note that many participants prefer to stay in sublet apartments or airbnb accommodations in the city center, where they are closer to city-life and shopping than at the dorms. While the student dorms are within walking distance to the campus, they are planned for year-long undergraduate students with limited budgets and don’t always meet the standards and needs of short-term foreign students.
If you would like to arrange your own accommodations, please note that many previous participants have recommended to stay in West Jerusalem in areas like the city center or neighborhoods such as French Hill (very close to campus), Nachlaot (an older, gentrifying neighborhood ), Rachavia or the German Colony. It’s important to keep in mind that students need to arrive on campus on their own and some places are more conveniently located to the light rail or buses than others.
Subject to availability, participants in our summer programs might have the option to choose from among different housing options offered by Hebrew U's Rothberg International School. At the moment there are no housing options available for the winter sessions.
In order to access the dorms, participants first need to complete registration at RIS offices. Participants arriving on Fridays and Saturdays or on any other day after office hours will need to arrange accommodations until RIS offices reopen.
Applicants will receive detailed information about reservation and check-in procedures once they are accepted to the program.
